England’s World Twenty20 final win over Australia will add some spice to the coming Australia-England KFC T20s in Adelaide and Melbourne next January, but Cricket Australia CEO James Sutherland is not reading too many Ashes outcomes from the result.“Congratulations to England on winning the Twenty20 World Cup,” says Sutherland.
“But the Twenty20 format played in the Caribbean is completely different to The Ashes series to be played in Australia next summer.“Our team is very focused on regaining The Ashes, our Test specialists are now more hardened than we were in England last year, and we will be playing in our home conditions.”
