The BCCI has decided to issue show cause notices to eight players who were involved in an altercation with fans at a Barbados bar after India crashed out of the World T20. The decision to seek explanations from Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan, Ashish Nehra, Rohit Sharma, Piyush Chawla, Suresh Raina, Murali Vijay and Ravindra Jadeja was taken after top BCCI officials met the team manager for the Caribbean tour, Ranjib Biswal, here today.Speaking about the meeting that BCCI president Shashank Manohar and secretary N Srinivasan had with Biswal, the Board’s chief administrative officer Ratnakar Shetty said: “The president and secretary took information from the manager... and also from the written report. We also conducted an inquiry over the incident (in the pub)... After considering all the information, the president took the decision that the secretary will issue a show cause notice to those players tomorrow.”
