   thats seems about right, but although he is talented i just cant see russell replacing rampaul........im pretty sure ravi will get it based on experience.......the only other is darren sammy, i want to squeeze him in there, just cant find a replacement

   But on those wickets i would rather tour with a batting heavy team..

   well that is true, but one thing that is needed if benn isnt going to be there for the first test is another spinner, maybe miller?

   It's hard to see a WI team touring with 3 spinners.

   Maybe Benn will get left out of the team altogether...

   Squad looks good. Can't agree with Russell as yet. I'd take Tonge or even Baker. Also thought Fletcher had a decent A-team tour.

   I see your point re russell... I would go with Tonge in that case.

   I would not bring back fletcher... I think once a player has been dropped from the senior team he should be given enough time to prove that he can be consistently successful at the First Class level before getting consideration.

   y not tour with 3 spinners, the pace bowlers have been punishing, the only way a quick can get any purchase out of SL pitches is if they are quick and swinging, and so far the only ones in my book are roach and taylor......russell doesnt seem that quick
