Morkel to Benn, out Caught by Kallis!! banged in short, Morkel gets a lot of bounce, it was on the body of Benn, no room to work on it, he awkwardly tries to fend it away, gets a leading edge near the shoulder of the bat, the ball lobs up in the air and Kallis at first slip takes it with his fingers pointing up, WI lead by 3 runs. On day 5 cricinfo had a blurb from Otis Gibson regarding day 4
Otis Gibson, the West Indies coach : "We came out in the morning [yesterday] to look to score freely if we could. If we were allowed to. We wanted to bat the whole day. We weren't allowed to. They bowled the left arm spinner outside leg from over the wicket. The seamers bowled outside off with sweeepers. You can only do what you are allowed do. Unless you went and tried to force the issue but that could have been risky. When we bowled we tried to get wickets. When they bowled you cant' say they tried to bowl to get wickets.. If we tried to force the issue and gave away wickets like we did in Trinidad, the result could well turn out to be like it did in Trinidad.
On his thoughts for the pitch for the next Test: Our best seamers are out injured. we have couple of good spinners. I would like to hope we would get a pitch that suits us.
I am very optimistic with the set-up. To change the mind set. We have the talent. Shiv was still determined. NAsh too showed. We have young Bravo waiting in wings. You never know what can happen in Barbados. May be we can win. We in West Indies team believe we can win."
